The plan
Day by day
- Day 1Canals & Cafes
Gather in Alleppey by midday. We'll start with a relaxed afternoon canoe cruise through the quiet backwater canals to break the ice. Evening spent at a beachside cafe planning the route ahead over local seafood and fresh juices.
- Day 2The Coastal Run to the Cliffs
An early morning departure down the national highway and coastal backroads toward Varkala. It’s a scenic ride with the ocean keeping us company on the right. We’ll reach the famous Varkala cliffs by afternoon, just in time to catch a massive sunset and explore the cliffside night markets.
- Day 3Cafes & Coastal Chill
A dedicated slow day in Varkala. Morning optional surf session or a lazy breakfast at a cliffside cafe. In the afternoon, we’ll take a short ride to the secluded Black Beach and Kappil Edava where the road separates the lake and the sea.
- Day 4Royalty & Architecture
Riding down to Trivandrum. We will spend the afternoon diving into the city’s rich history—visiting the breathtaking Kuthiramalika Palace (Horse Palace) to admire traditional Kerala wooden architecture and exploring the Napier Museum grounds. Dinner at an iconic local spot for authentic regional eats.
- Day 5The Final Stretch & Goodbyes
A morning walk through the old fort area, followed by a final group brunch to share photos and contact details. Wrap up by noon so everyone can catch their return transits.
